DÜRR EcoCCore
Brand-new eye-catcher
By manifold process options the newly developed process technology of the EcoCCore parts cleaning system offers best conditions to master the requirements in modern production processes with regard on quality and functionality.
At the same time EcoCCore presents itself in a new mineral glass casing, which fulfills the high security standards with its materiality and transparency in an innovative way. By switching on the inner lighting the grey-tinted glass becomes mainly clear and gives a perfect overview on the system technology within seconds.
EcoCCore was designed as an autonomic, integral monocoque construction by defortec and meets the requested cost targets in an elegant way.
Awards
EcoCCore is winner of the famous international
iF product design award 2014 and winner of the design award Baden-Württemberg, Focus Open 2013.
New Userinterface
Parallel to the development of the EcoCCore the new controlling concept for the DÜRR system was created. The control panel‘s design neatly integrates in the new product family and was also equipped with an user interface and a visualization monitor, designed by defortec.

simplify the understanding of design Glossary
Design and functional development of a user interface. Interface is a part or an act, in which a person makes contact with a machine or a product. The simplest example therefore is a light-switch: it‘s not part of the person, neither part of the machine (light), but an interface between. For being useful and important for persons, the interface should be based on human needs and skills. If you look at it systematically user interface belongs to the „Man Machine System“ (MMS): Man ↔ Man-Machine-Interface ↔ Machine. Different sciences are focused on that theme, e.g. informatics, the Cognitive Science research and psychology. The basic knowledge for user-friendly interface design is developed in design and ergonomics. The specific field of activity is Cognitive Ergonomics, System Ergonomics and Software Ergonomics (usability engineering).
