Human Machine Cooperation

For the TecFabrik of Daimler AG we developed the design of an HRC capable assembly robot. This new robotic technology enables the cooperation between humans and robots. In addition to its collaborative design, extensive safety aspects as well as rapid production and delivery of the prototype were required.

The resulting overall structure is characterised by its contemporary and clear appearance as well as its high user and maintenance friendliness. The integrated LED status lights display clearly visible from any position and visualise the entire assembly robot being carried. The sound insulation inside significantly reduces the noise level and thus creates a more pleasant working environment.

Red Dot Design Award 2017

The MRK enclosure together with the robot head was awarded the internationally renowned Design Prize Red Dot Design Award 2017.
